Welcome to our new website!

I'm Katherine Meyer. As your elected Tax Commissioner, my goal is to provide you with excellent service by continually improving our website to give you the information and tools you need. As you browse our new site, you’ll see a fresh design and navigational scheme, along with improved functionality, including the ability to pay your property taxes online – in real time. I hope you’ll find it easy to use and that you quickly find the information you’re looking for. 

This year I’m proud to celebrate my 25th year as your Gwinnett Tax Commissioner. My office is staffed by an exceptional group of people dedicated to serving the citizens of Gwinnett County. Tax Commissioner’s 2009 Quality Awards Dinner

The Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner’s Office held the annual Quality Awards Dinner on June 11, 2009, at Central Gwinnett High School. The ceremony recognized employees that have excelled in work quality and performance. This year’s theme was 1985 – The Dawn of a Quarter Century of Service Excellence, honoring Katherine Meyer’s 25 years of service as Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner.

The OTC Quality Council, an employee run workplace improvement group, presented an award to Debra Kennedy for submitting the most ideas approved for implementation.

About Katherine

Gwinnett County voters originally elected Katherine Meyer as tax commissioner in 1984. She is currently serving her seventh consecutive four-year term. Katherine is proud to be the first woman elected Tax Commissioner and one of the first two women elected to a county-wide office in Gwinnett’s history.
