Richard Steele
Department of Property Tax Director
Richard Steele was appointed to the position of Property Tax Director in October 2007. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia in 1996. From 1997 to 2004, he worked as the Operations Manager for the UGA Campus Transit System.
Richard worked for a year at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta as a budget analyst before coming to work for the Tax Commissioner as the Snellville Tag Office Manager in 2005. He most recently served as Senior Branch Manager at the Lawrenceville Tag Office.
