Gwinnett County Motor Vehicle Information

Thanksgiving holidays are Thursday, November 26, and Friday, November 27, 2009.  All Gwinnett Tax Commissioner's offices will be closed.

All Gwinnett Tax Commissioner's offices will be open Monday, November 23, through Wednesday, November 25, 2009.

NOTE: Tag Office work schedules are different during holiday weeks.  Please note these changes and plan ahead.

Effective January 1, 2010, motor vehicle tag offices will no longer accept credit or debit card payments over the counter or by mail.

The Tax Commissioner's Office made this change in order to reduce the 2010 budget as required by the Gwinnett Board of Commissioners.

For easier before and after work access, be sure to take advantage of the longer daily hours and visit a tag office on your way to or from work. And don’t forget, the North Gwinnett tag office is open on Saturday from 8am to 6pm!
