During the 2010 Legislative Session, the Georgia General Assembly passed HB 1055 which was signed into law on May 12 and is effective immediately.  This bill increases the fees for prestige plates and most special tags.  For more information and a list of plates affected by this change, click here.

All Tax Commissioner offices will be closed on Monday, September 6, in recognition of Labor Day.

Tag Office work schedules are different during holiday weeks.  Please note these changes and plan ahead.

To see the holiday schedule, click here.  The day following a holiday is typically very busy; please plan your visit accordingly.

For easier before and after work access, be sure to take advantage of the longer daily hours and visit a tag office on your way to or from work. And don’t forget, the North Gwinnett tag office is open on Saturday from 8am to 6pm!
