You must register according to an alphabetical schedule during the 12-month period. Registration is based on the first initial of the first name of the company/enterprise.
Example
- "A Zebra Company" would register in January, because the first letter is (A).
- "The Zebra Company" would register in October, because the first letter is (T).
- "Zebra Company" would register in December, because the first letter is (Z).
- "123 Cleaning" would register in August, because the first letter is (O) - when pronounced One, Two, Three Cleaning.
26,001-54,999 Pounds (non-International Registration Plan)
You must register between December 1 through February 15 of each year.
55,000 Pounds or more (non-International Registration Plan)
You must register between December 1 and February 15 of each year and bring a copy of your current year Form 2290/Schedule 1, with the exact vehicle identification number of the vehicle you are registering. The Form 2290 must be legible, stamped by the IRS as received, paid and with the current date on it.
