City Tax Information

A number of cities in Gwinnett County assess their own property taxes, which are in addition to and separate from county, state and other taxes and assessments. 

As of 2006, Gwinnett cities listed in the table below were assessing their own city property taxes. Clicking on the city's name will redirect you to their website. 

Note: Gwinnett County collects taxes for the cities of Berkeley Lake, Dacula, Grayson, Lawrenceville, Lilburn, Snellville, and Sugar Hill. Questions on those cities’ property tax collections may be directed to the Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner. Click here for contact information.

Gwinnett County collects all city taxes for mobile homes, heavy duty equipment and timber.

Please note that if you live in city limits in any of the cities listed above, you will need to contact that city directly if you have questions about city property tax information. 

The Tax Commissioner’s Office began collecting city taxes for the City of Lawrenceville in 2005. If you are seeking prior year city-tax information for Lawrenceville, please contact them directly at 770-963-2414. 

Other property tax information can be obtained regardless of where you live from the Property Tax Department by calling 770-822-8800 or by e-mailing Tax@gwinnettcounty.com.
