Millage Rates

Properties are taxed according to various millage rates assessed by different government entities. In Gwinnett County, these normally include state, county, county bond, the detention center bond, schools, school bond, recreation and cities (where applicable).

Pursuant to a Temporary Collection Order, temporary bills will be mailed prior to September 8, 2009 with a temporary county millage rate equivalent to the millage rate set for county taxation purposes in 2008.  Once final millage rates are set by the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners, a re-billing will occur.

The chart below shows millage rates for unincorporated Gwinnett County and for incorporated (city) areas billed by Gwinnett County.
