Stormwater Fees

The Gwinnett Board of Commissioners implemented a stormwater utility service fee in 2006. The Stormwater Utility provides support for major stormwater activities such as replacing stormwater pipes, reducing flooding, fulfilling regulatory requirements, and reducing pollution carried by stormwater to our waterways.

The service fee was included on tax bills beginning in 2006. This service fee is based on the amount of impervious surface areas such as roofs, driveways, patios, etc., on the property.

To see the stormwater fee for your property, visit the Stormwater Management website. Click on the "Documents” link and follow the directions in the document titled "GIS Data Browser."
