Filing Due Dates

Due Dates

  • Homestead Exemption Application Deadline March 1
  • Mobile Home Taxes Due May 1
  • 2009 First Installment Due Date October 15
  • Second Installment Due Date November 15

A 5% penalty and interest at the rate of 1% per calendar month (12% annually) will accrue beginning November 16 on any unpaid balance.

Mobile home tax bills are mailed on January 15. Taxes are due on or before May 1.

Please Note:  On August 13, Judge Timothy Hamil ordered temporary tax bills to be sent based on a calculation of last year's County millage rate of 10.97 with the 2009 tax digest.  Furthermore, he has ordered two installments with due dates of October 15 and November 15.  

A temporary bill must be paid by the stated due dates to avoid interest or penalty charges.  Once final millage rates and assessed values are set by all of the taxing authorities, a re-billing will occur.  Any difference in the temporary and the final millage rate will result in additional charges or refunds to property owners.  We will post on the Property page of this website additional information as it becomes available to us.
